GSC Rewards members can claim the Velvet new-menu dining voucher for 0 GSCoins. Check the Sunway 163 venue, eligible menu and separate RM20 set-meal offer.
GSC lists a Velvet Restaurant & Bar menu-refresh offer for 26 October–1 November 2026: 50% off with no minimum spend. The detail terms limit it to the new menu, dine-in and GSC Rewards members at Sunway 163 Mall. It is a dining offer, not a blanket half-price movie ticket.
Claim before ordering
The official instructions point to the GSC app’s Me tab, then Rewards Centre and View More. Claim the named Velvet new-menu 50% voucher for 0 GSCoins and present it when ordering at the restaurant. The published terms do not allow repeated participation throughout the promotion period and retain a while-stocks-last qualification.
Check that the voucher is visible and applicable before making a special trip. A listing on the public website does not confirm that a particular account can still redeem it, that a table is available or that every dish is in stock. We have not claimed a voucher or tested an order.
Do not turn the RM20 set into a promised RM10 meal
GSC separately advertises set meals from RM20, including soup and a choice of main, Monday–Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., excluding public holidays and weekends. That offer’s terms prohibit combining it with other promotions and vouchers. Treat it as an alternative to compare, not a second discount to stack.
The set-meal page identifies the venue as Velvet Cinemas, Level 3, Sunway 163 Mall in Mont Kiara. Do not assume the new-menu dining voucher applies to an Aurum venue or every GSC cinema.
Compare what you will actually order
Ask which dishes are in the eligible new menu and how taxes, service charges and excluded items will appear on the bill. The public listing does not establish a final price for your chosen meal. Keep drinks, transport and parking in the outing budget if you would buy or use them.
Illustration only: if the confirmed eligible food subtotal is RM60, half is RM30 before any separately payable charges or excluded items. That arithmetic is not a quoted menu price. A lower-priced set may still cost less overall if it already includes what you wanted.
This is most useful if you already have GSC Rewards and plan to dine in Mont Kiara during the stated dates. It is less useful for takeaway plans or a trip made solely for a dish whose eligibility has not been checked.
